Sara Díaz
Founder and Destination Wedding Planner
About me
I've spent years in the events world. My own wedding took far more work than I expected.
I'm Sara. I've spent many years working in the events world in Seville: conferences, exhibitions like Titanic and the Fernando Lara Prize, by Editorial Planeta, one of Spain's best-known publishers.
Later I worked as a project manager in Germany, coordinating mobile connectivity infrastructure for large multinational companies. But what I love is people, and the connection that interests me most is yours as a couple: your love story. And it was there, far from home, that I planned my own wedding in Andalusia.
I love organizing. I had the time, and I enjoyed it. Even so, it took far more work than I had imagined. That's when I truly understood why wedding planners exist.
It was a perfect day. And since I can't live it again, I do the next best thing: I help other couples have the wedding of their dreams, and bring out the best in themselves.
One thing I'm sure of: a wedding has to be unforgettable for the two of you and your loved ones. And to be unforgettable, it has to look like you: it has to reflect who you are as a couple.
I don’t work alone, but always in boutique mode: I oversee and direct everything personally.
What guides me
How I work
The couple comes first
Your wedding is unlike any other, so I start by listening to you.
Details are the key to authenticity
What makes a wedding yours is almost always in the small things.
Everything has a solution
Something unexpected always comes up. That's what I'm here for.
My success is your satisfaction
If you and your loved ones leave happy, I've done my job well.
Why Habrá poesía
As long as one feels the soul laughing
while the lips do not laugh;
as long as one weeps, with no tear coming
to cloud the eye;
as long as heart and mind
keep battling on,
as long as there are hopes and memories,
there will be poetry!As long as there are eyes that mirror
the eyes that look at them,
as long as a lip answers, sighing,
to the lip that sighs,
as long as two souls can feel themselves
confounded in a kiss,
as long as a beautiful woman exists,
there will be poetry!
Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, Rima IV (excerpt). Translation ours
The name comes from this refrain by Bécquer, a poet from Seville. For us, a well-made wedding is another way for there to be poetry.
